Not a thread for trying to get people to buy in so fuck off with your pajeet masternodes. I was thinking about this and it might not actually be a pyramid scheme by definition.

As recruiting multiplies, recruiting becomes quickly impossible, and most members are unable to profit; as such, pyramid schemes are unsustainable and often illegal.
Arguements for each side.
Yes:
>Early Investors have an advantage
>Rewards for recruiting
No:
>Zero sum so cannot collapse and leave no money to pay out investors.
>Doesn't make false promises the payout structure is clear and open.
>Initial investors lose money to later investors via dividends when they sell, in a normal pyramid early investors can profit off later investors but not vice-versa.
>If the pyramid 'crashes' the bag holders become the ground floor.

This seems to meet the definition of multi-level-marketing more than a pyramid scheme.

All of these things seem to be. If you're creating one, it's unethical but you'll profit; if you join on early, still unethical, but you've got good chances to end up with a profit; if you join one that's been going on for a while, then you're not the smartest person around and are letting greed blind you.
