So the price goes up $500 all of a sudden and stays there. Some people dump, others buy, but price won't move more than $50.

Who the fuck buys a coin and makes it surge like that? Did I miss any good news? Is this all wash trading to paint the charts?

Please no conspiracy theories.

Now it'll go flat all weekend, and Asia will shit all over it, as usual, and Monday, it starts over again. This is so fucking manipulated it's not even funny - it's all momentum for whales to skim off the krill. Every move that REKTs you on Bitmex is another cloud of krill for them.

How dont you faggots understand this yet?
BTC will not moon till the whales have accumulated, scared out all normie investors and most neets, and have some good news in the pipes.

Whales are whales because they accumulated when nobody else wanted to. this ponzi doesn't work when everyone wins. they know this. and they are trying their absolute hardes to shake out every normie possible so that the ponzi works. it just can't happen again if we have millions of average people getting rich too.

patience anon. If you even realise the whales tactics you have a chance. you cannot beat them despite knowing their overall goal, so don't try to leverage trade or short and long, they will just fuck you and acquire your coins. don't paly their games, just ride their tails.

these naive traders are the easiest to squeeze, there's an incentive to get them on board because they are better fuel for the move down

another aspect of it is a liquidity pump...if the order book is too thin to sell into they can try to artificially pump up the bids to reduce slippage. the more prominent the bull flag is the better the order book gets stacked.

>And these traders would put their stop below the bull flag, so why would the whales take those coins from the normies then keep driving the price down?
I was talking about shorts putting stops above the resistance line, not the longs/bull flag. easy to hunt because it's easy to spot.

This. If they bought in the 3 digit range, they have profit all the way down. When they decide it's low enough to leave the market, look out below. Most of the big holders bought WAY before December, the winter children here bought thousands of dollars over their cost basis. They're not even in the same game as the 3 digit players. The funny part is people who bought in the thousands think the whales give a fuck about supporting their profit potential.

Japan has been routinely dumping every morning at the exact same time for weeks now. This dip was also easily predictable by the chart. The first indicator was the long double tweezer top upper wicks. The probability of a dip was then further increased by the struggle at the EMAs. First price fell under the 13 EMA, then made contact with the 9 EMA. When it tried to pull back above the 13, it failed to do so, and instead started pushing on $8,500 and the triangle bound and became trapped in between the two compressed EMAs, which indicates a coming large price movement. This, combined with the routine Tokyo morning dump, made this an obvious short.

Sorry if you guys think TA is a meme, but this shit trades just like a more volatile forex and if you're not taking the time to learn how to analyze price movement properly, then its your own fault for getting rekt.

Keep saying TA is a meme though and blame it all on whales, if that makes you feel better. /biz/ is such shit nowadays. I miss old /biz/, where people actually knew how to trade and 75% of the threads weren't about link or whining about its other peoples' fault Anon is losing money. Seriously, you guys don't do anything to learn about how this game works. You think you're gonna figure it out from just staying on /biz/, which is 95% shill threads now with zero substance? Lol, good fucking luck. Enjoy getting chewed out.

This sounds like bullshit. Time zones don't matter as much in crypto. People can work overnight. Bots never stop.
You need to show me that the dump is starting in a Japanese exchange to convince me.

Of course time zones matter. We see similar massive price movement routinely when America wakes up as well. Why wouldn't we? A country with a large number of traders wakes up, sees the price making a bullish or bearish price movement, then many, many holders all start trading at the same time and prices spike.

Don't believe me though, even though I posted the charts for you to look at that confirm what I'm saying (the Japan dump ratio is 100% now, 7 out of 7 major price movements during Tokyo open in March). Go on the bitcoin chart and look at what happens each day at London, NYC, and Tokyo mornings and you'll see what I'm saying is correct.

You won't though. You won't pull up the chart and do the research, because you're pig headed and stubborn. 4chan might as well all be /pol/ now. The /pol/ attitude of blind, stubborn entitlement and cultish beliefs has spread to /biz/ as heavily as any other board. This is why I'll be taking your money on Mex and you'll be on here complaining about it. Because I've spent countless hours learning how to win this game, while you just shitpost on /biz/. Top. Kek.

So many butthurt retards on here.. "Whales are going to scare off the common person and then they are going to end up shooting themselves in the foot"... How stupid are you. There are like 10 people on here that said that.. The whales want you to lose hope. They want you to dump it down and then they will pump it up so hard and you will fomo again at some stupid ass price.

>They want you to dump it down and then they will pump it up so hard and you will fomo again at some stupid ass price.
At some point people realize what's happening and they simply leave the market. They stop fomoing and move on, find something else to trade. Or they simply run out of money.

>You won't though. You won't pull up the chart and do the research,
Dude, I've plotted all Bittrex data (volume, average price) from 2012-2017 for several coins. I did this a over year ago, before you even entered this market. I've been trough all this. Yes, I found patterns that loosely corresponded to time zones. The problem is, once people become aware of such patterns, they program their algorithms to trade within them, which changes the whole thing. If you really want to show that the pump is happening in Japan, run a linear regression and show me that price swings in a Japanese exchange cause the price in other exchanges to move.

No, you can't do this because you have no idea of what you're talking about you piece of shit.

The whales don't care about the short term price of BTC. They're playing the extreme long term game. People who are emotional enough to exit the market now are definitely emotional enough to FOMO in when BTC has been pumped to 100k...just before it drops to 20k.
That is also why I believe whales will pump it higher than the previous high of 11.7k before we touch 4k. All the TA guys who predicted 13k+ are now predicting a crash to 6k.

Bitch, these whales don't give a fuck about the long run. They know BTC will be replaced by something else, they just want to dump it at the right time. Roger Ver began to freak out and switched to BCH when Ethereum almost flipped BTC last June.

>> No.8391582

Low volume means mass accumulation or mass dumping fucks price more than otherwise. All it is. With few sellers trying to buy drives up price and vice versa. So the long run equilibrium is unchanged but variance is higher.
