Hopefully this letter finds you well; please don't waste any time, effort or professional reputation by replying to this anonymous apology on behalf of an anonymous internet subculture -- the aim of these words here is to provide enough understanding not to let this get under your skin.

Selfishly, perhaps, I apologize for the bad behavior undertaken by an extremely active minority of idiots within a much larger meta-community of entrepreneurs & free-thinkers who, for the most part, keep our "board culture" where it belongs: far from reality and entirely within the confines of an anonymous internet forum rechable via this address:

In fact, all of the fora hosted on 4chan exhort lurkers & posters to obey these first two rules borrowed & altered from "Fight Club:"

>(1) do not talk about 4chan (or /biz/) [outside of 4chan]

>(2) do not talk about 4chan (or /biz/) [outside of 4chan]

Sadly, excited children often "forget" such hard & fast rules in the exuberance they've found when their little internet kultur collides with their professional lives. Although nearly all of us either are or can pass as "normal," but some of my /biz/ness associates are practically retarded in their autistic embrace of "board culture." Why? Humans are flawed, social animals, driven by intelligence which, itself, started off as little more than a heritable trait which provides an advantage in the eternal quest to reproduce.

We are, as a species, confused monkeys waking up alone on a forgotten rock somewhere out in the infinite night sky. With this understanding, all of the religions & nations of the world seem silly, and it is in this realization, which often dawns only after one attains "membership" in some sort of "secret club/cult," that such paroxysms as the last two idiots to demand you pose with them for photographs as they held a /biz/ placard.

Regardless, these contemplations and their obvious realizations should be practically self-evident to any conscious animal upon reflection; therefore, I number myself among we who were aghast at such vulgarly wrong actions by a very few people who take too much of their identity from this board culture. We, the silent majority, would never do such a thing, and are, at this time, engaging in a tireless witch hunt to discover, expose & punish those responsible.

We never wanted direct interaction with you, your team, your associates... or anyone else, ever. We are not stupid enough to perturb the butterfly as it emerges fresh from the chrysalis, infinitely more content instead to simply observe it from secrecy.

Your project has unbelievably far-reaching use cases, with a potential value-per-token based on numbers much larger than the world's cash reserves; discovering a crypto project which could potentially have a market cap determined by the motherfucking *derivatives* market is so potentially lucrative, such an amazingly beyond-next-level investment, that some of our weaker fellows just can't handle it.

They snap. They lose their minds. A cult forms. A bearded gentleman is praised; a symbol is worshipped. This is natural; the same thing's been happening again & again since the first time a monkey stacked two rocks. It's merely the modern manifestation of human -- animal -- psychology... but you already knew that.

This letter has drifted off course; let me return by closing with this:

>think about military veterans
>think about homeless people
>think about offensively crazy people

There are plenty of vets who aren't homeless, homeless who aren't vets, and both who aren't crazy, but, sometimes, you get someone who's all three.

>don't let that one guy ruin your perception of the reputation of two of the other three groups

In summation, nearly all of us want your project to succeed for both selfish & selfless reasons, and most of us are wise enough to leave a wide berth so as not to not inadvertently ruin everything somehow.

ChainLINK is an idea whose time has come (which is very exciting); please maintain your course & speed, and disregard anyone stupid enough to risk a sure thing by making you pose for /biz/ photos....

>...unless you're secretly one of us already(?)

SUGGESTION TIME:
>charge 1,000 LINK for every photo taken with you

By now, the original vector of this letter has been lost, so I will now leave it to anyone else here on /biz/ who cares to contribute.
