I broke 500k (from 3k last year) the second week of January. I told myself there was a 30% chance this bubble would crash and I could potentially lose 90% of my money. At the time my father was working 70 hours a week, constantly out of breath when he came home. I wanted to pay for his retirement. 500k would not have been enough after owing nearly half of it to taxes. So I held. Now I'm down to 150k. Will be much less after taxes. My father is doing better and I'm just wishing I can pay my tuition for my last few years of college. Fuck
