Is this really the only way to have an ETH wallet offline?

>>8323534
I know how to run one of the online ones, like the MetaMask one, but I don't understand why it can't be like bitcoin. I don't have any interest in ETH, but I want in on link without storing them in an exchange.

My 2 cent is keep your link in binance, they've proven they can handle attacks and hacks, altcoins belong on safe exchanges. What are you going to do when it pumps try to transfer to an exchange (network will be conjested) don't be a brainlet keep it on an binance. Post that fucking folder OP

No folder because I wanted an offline wallet, but here is one more. I think I'll just keep it in Binance like my MIOTA. Fucking hell, maybe these shit coins would do better if they had a functioning offline wallet.

I want more pics so here, follow this guide on the MEW knowledge base:

https://myetherwallet.github.io/knowledge-base/offline/running-myetherwallet-locally.html

Just follow the links at the bottom to figure out how to send transactions offline

There really is no such thing as an offline version of storage technically your balance and address live on the blockchain. All that is important is you are generating the private key you use to access and send funds from your wallet using one of these wallet programs like mew. Even the web version of mew runs completely client side in JavaScript to handle the key generation and encryption.

Just mew it and keep your backup wallet data somewhere safe or use a hardware wallet with a pin system to store the key.

In the end all you are storing is a hexidecimal key that allows you to "unlock" your funds.
