What the fuck paypal? What the actual fuck? Thanks for scamming me and putting me into debt. Fuck that site.

>> No.832094

Maybe you should stop trying to scam people shit skin

>> No.832097

>>832094
I did not scam anyone. I was selling. I delivered items. The buyers are scamming me.

>> No.832099

Care to explain further?

>> No.832100

>>832097
Haha, what the fuck were you selling that it
s that low?

Did you already unhook it from your bank account to avoid them stealing your money?

well, let me change my stance then

>2015
>Using Jewpal at all

Everyone smart jumped ship when they implemented that retarded buyer always wins policy

>> No.832105

>>832100
Nope because they locked my bank account to the account.

>>832099
Was selling digital steam games. Sold around 5 thousand dollars worth. Probably going to go deeper in debt btw. Sent them the codes through there ebay message. Suddenly claiming stolen accounts and false purchases on all my sales. Paypal forcing money out of my account.

>> No.832106

How long can you leave a negative paypal balance alone without getting in trouble?

>> No.832109

>>832102
what do you use then??
>>832106
not sure

>> No.832111

>>832105

You're fucked then.

It's against their rules to sell digital goods with Paypal (Thank Bitcoin for this)

>> No.832113

>>832111
Yea... Dident know that. Had a catagory for it though

>> No.832115

You should be able to unlink the account still. Otherwise you can call your bank and ask them to block paypal. Cite a hacked account if the ask.

Never sell digital goods on ebay, it violates their ToS. Every person that files against you, will auto win.

>> No.832119

>>832115
oh shit im 5k down then. and I only had $100 to begin with

>> No.832127

>>832119
On the bright side, a good portion of the people won't scam you. There are some legit people.

Paypal cannot debit your bank account without your consent, but they can be tricky and you may have set it up to auto debit before. So unlink the bank account and write off the account.

>> No.832135

>>832111
is there a similar service that would allow sale of digital goods?

>> No.832137

>>832127
so what do I do here? Can I contact the police. Paypal is literally doing no investigation what do ever.

>> No.832152

>>832137
You can contact the police as the people are stealing from you. They will not however do anything because it's steam games you bought from South America. Digital good are basically impossible to investigate.

If you don't pay the balance off, paypal will ban you, and they do have the option to send it to collections, I'm not sure if they only pursue over a certain dollar amount. Most places do (They're not going to waste the man power to collect $25 obviously).

>> No.832155

>>832152
ok thanks for all of the information.

one last time... fuck paypal and ebay

>> No.832165

>>832155
Agreed.

Also one more time, make sure you've unlinked your credit card and bank account. If they limit your account, you can't unlink them anymore.

>> No.832170

>>832165
I have tried all of the payments got reversed at the same time. Most likley the same buyer with multiple stolen accounts. So account got immediately limited. cant unlink anything. Gonna contact my bank tomorrow.

I'm not 100% but I think it will fail to withdrawn due to insufficient funds.

I would just close the account and open a new one.

You should of used a secondary bank account which you transfer funds from your main one to avoid this. Its tedious but can protect your ass in Internet scams

I remember when I bought some expensive limited edition items and paypal tried taking it out of my bank 3 times.

Charged overdraft fees x3 ($35 each).

My paypal account was neg'd over $1,000 and my bank was neg'd as well.

Took some time but I finally got it settled.

But you sir, you are fucked.
Who sells digital goods through Paypal? You should've known this.

>> No.832959

So if I was ever going to do something like this (digital goods dealing) I should probably have:

> separate bank account for business
> move money from paypal straight to bank account, then withdraw it in cash
> put cash into my personal account right away

Would it help to have the account at a different bank, like I have 1 TD Canada Trust account, and another PC Financial Account, so I guess I should open up like a RBC Account or something else, just for the purpose of PayPal transactions, and just keep moving the money around from account to account?

>> No.832975

>>832306
How does that work?

>> No.834078

>>832959
I have two checking accounts with the same bank, one is for business, the other is personal. It's nice that they are at the same bank so transfers are instant.

Paypal has never been linked to my personal account. Once I sell something on ebay, I withdraw the money to my business account, I transfer a percentage to my personal account.

I also only transfer when my paypal balance is over $100. No sense in transferring $7 at a time.

I plan to make an online business that sells virtual services and goods via Paypal. Can the user just buy something, get for example a token, then cancel the transaction later and keep the token ?

Your buyer just has to say "He stopped responding" to get a refund.

Pp doesn't have a Runescape/etc account to watch you trade.

>> No.834144

That's about a physical good. My question is : "Can the buyer automatically cancel the payment and can my account be automatically debited ?"

>> No.834146

>>834144

No they can't cancel a payment, they can "dispute" it if that's what you mean.

All they have to say is that you didn't complete the transaction. Any 10 yo playing Gaia Online can type that out on their parents Pp to get a refund.

>> No.834148

Jesus fucking christ, didn't you learn ANYTHING from steam trading in general, not even referring to games but digital items through steam?

The purchaser ALWAYS GIFTS THE MONEY. That way it cannot be "revoked". This is always the risk and reward that a buyer has from getting cheaper games [or hats, skins, etc through steam]. Obviously it has been used for scamming before in the past but as said, you build up reputation on steam rep sites and so forth. So fucking stupid. So very fucking stupid.

Also, what if I add to my website EULA that Paypal buyings can't be settled ? The user has to accept the EULA to use the website (it's specified during signup and the user must check the box), so can I use it if someone tries to obtain a refund ?

What do you mean 'digital goods'?
If it's exclusively games , G2A is worth a try, but you need to price your games very well

You can't...

Even if they "gift" it to you by clicking "Sending as friend/family", they can still charge their card back after the trade. Claiming "Unauthorized/INR" it's illegal, but banks don't care and will do anything their customer says.
