That's because a Chinese citizen can only leave with 50k USD equivalent. China doesn't want it's people taking off with the country's wealth because that means their fake asset bubble will burst sooner. Underground crypto exchanges keep popping up because smart Chinese know that they need to put their money abroad.

You can't bank on any one project or exchange in China anon. Just be happy that they add volume to crypto transactions and help pump up the price.
