Whenever I search for some stocks or ETFs in their search bar it doesn't find what I'm looking for.

Some searches they didn't find anything for: LVL, VIY, VYM, XLK

I even bought VYM and XLK using their platform before, but when I type them into the search bar they aren't found.

What am I doing wrong?

I'm not looking to sink a shitload of money into this. Just a trial run. Let's say I buy 5 one dollar stocks that plummet to 1 cent. 99% loss. I don't stand to lose as much as if I sink say 250 dollars in 50 dollar stocks and they just crash to one cent or even worse, go bankrupt. If I profit from the 5 dollars and in fact they grow to massive size like google did (overly optimistic but you get my point) I gain more money than if the 50 dollar ones grow to match Google's price.
