In his Mcgreggor fight Floyd money Mayweather earned an estimated 300 million in 36 minutes

“If I see an opportunity to make $300m in 36 minutes, why not? I had to do it.”

> 8.3 mln a minute
> 138 Billion dollar per second..

Is this the most money capitalistically made in the fastest timespan by anyone, ever?

Depends how fast a reader Floyd is, 750k per page ain't bad. Arguably there would have been more prep and training leading up to the harry potter challenge than the mcg fight.

That was just in the contract. He demanded 300 million and then happened to beat his ass in 30minutes. I am wondering if anyone has ever made more money in a shorter timespan.
And then, who?

You're about as good at math as Mayweather is at reading, mate.

Actually, it's difficult to say how much Floyd made, since he was the promoter, which means that he also paid for the whole thing, the marketing, etc. So that took a cut.

On the other hand, he probably also bet on himself (which is legal to do), so he also made money from that.

Is 300 million the official figure as far as his profits go? If so, that cancels my first point, but the second point still would stand.

The Mayweather family will blow that money within 30 years and they will be poor negroes again.

Floyd has done extremely well for himself. He didn't grow up privileged and had extreme success. Too many boxers and fighters get screwed by their promoters. Floyd might not have a lot of education, but he was smart enough to make the best of his situation.

To put that in perspective the largest cattle farming property in Australia recently sold for about what Floyd earned for this fight and it was about the size of Ireland, with 200k head of cattle and the infrastructure/contracts to export them
