SXSW isn't even really a music festival in the normal sense. It costs and insane amount and is mostly for labels to pay huge fees to host showcases in the hopes they'll be picked up by a major as a subsidiary or get free press from the other attendees who are all wannabe music industry ppl. Half the festival is SXSW interactive which is the same but about tech and has a section on blockchain.
