The Weaboo edition

Popular brokers for stock trading:
Robinhood
>commission free and no minimum to open
http://www.robinhood.com

> How is it free?
Robinhood earns revenue by collecting interest on cash/securities and fees from their Robinhood Gold service

> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

Interactive Brokers
>$1 commission per 100 shares. $10k minimum to open, $3k if 25 or under. Lowest margin interest. Free API access

TD Ameritade
>$6.95 commission per trade. No minimum to open. Fantastic data/charting through their free ThinkorSwim service

Where do you see cryptos going ?
My view on it is that mainly BTC is worth holding, and that it will either be a kind of digital gold, or absolute trash
The rest of the altcoins are only showcases for the technologies behind.

Cryptos are like the internet in the early 90s. This is the berth of a new asset class, and your right. Bitcoin is the only one worth investing in seeing as it's the gold standard of this new asset class. Ether is also good too. Right now crypto still needs more infrastructure before the big money shows up. That's what's keeping it down ATM. The general shadyness of the exchanges.

Coins as in crypto? But that rules out banks…

Dividends from stocks? But you don't get those by staking any coins…

Thats fair.
But all, memes and shit talking aside, i actually follow this one closely.

We know the products that were projected to be newly on the market this quarter, we saw urrent product revenue trends, we know a lot of them were selling out, we know they raised guidance..
This one feels safer than any one before.
Even if its a misd, it will still easily have its best quarter in 5 years.

Also if that current trajectory continues, and everyone sees this company has beaten its debt scares, big-safe money may come in fast and furious. And the short interest is cray as well.

Im holding.
Worst case scenario it drops then goes back up next quarter.

1.

However the price continued to be beaten down for a few more years. (And if you used your brain you would realize this is a good thing for us now)

2.
Who gives a fuck about what the price was 2 years ago.

3.
Amrs shiller the third "uatu" started shilling about 6 months ago saying now was the time, and he was dead right every step of the way.

Quit bitching. This isnt a pump retards. It isnt a discord plan. This is a purely fundamental play.

When I used to do a lot of options trading, one of my strategies was to pick a stable stock in an uptrend. Buy a long-term (let's say a year) call slightly OTM and sell a short term (one month) call. Repeat every month after expiry. You're selling time-value with this strategy, since short-term options tend to be relatively more expensive. Back then, the one year option was like $90 and I would get $10-25 every month selling the 1 month options.

Only because you renew the short over and over again. If you just did it once you would be long time value. Stop spreading garbage like shorter options having more time value.

They have higher vols but lower time value because the price is a function of the moneyness, the vol and the time to expiry. Time to expiry almost always outweighs the vol itself.
