Wrong. Legacy blocks (like the on OP has his bitcoin stored on) go for well above market rate. If you have a legacy block and then one of the newest blocks, it works like that game Reversi, you capture all the blocks in between (and thus all the Bitcoins associated with aformentioned blocks).
