Yeah... a whole four years. After that with acceptable income and good payment history post bankruptcy discharge - no problem. That's for conventional - FHA/VA is even less; two or three years if I remember correctly. It's not the end of the world.

Our system needs us to be in debt. They never lock you out completely.

Usually tuition is more than the maximum credit limit on a credit card dingus. And if you max out a credit card that creates a flag on your credit report. That's just ONE credit card, you take out multiple credit cards and it creates suspicion among credit agencies and can be detrimental to your credit. I am the poster of that comment and I have done it before.

WIth paypal I've even linked my capital one 360 checking to one account and saving to another with different names then what is on the actual bank account..

In fact you don't even need a bank account for the paypal that credit card is linked to..........

Ok cowboy.. here we go

Make a paypal account and then link it to your main checking account. Make another paypal account with a different name (i usually use current girlfriend) and put your new credit card on the 2nd account. Paypal does not give a fuck about names. Ive linked bank accounts and credit cards that do not match the original billing address for the paypal account. Now all you have to do is send a invoice from account 1 to account 2.... Account 2 proceeds to pay invoice with credit card. Account 1 receives the money -3%.

If you credit card has cash back you would earn that 1% for that transaction bring the total paypal fee to 1.5-2%.

Do I need to hold you hand through any other of /biz/s ideas?
