I'm trying to get into cryptocurrency but it feels like information is being flown at me at 100 mph. I have half a grand and crypto accounts to buy shit. The problem is I have no idea what to invest in. Ideally I just want to buy the dips even if that is a meme and make a profit off them doing so. Short term investment.

What coins are best to buy the dips?

Basically 95% of this shit does absolutely nothing and is propped up by roadmaps, hype, shilling and bullshit 'partnerships'.

I gambled and bought a few hundred worth of BTC in late 2015, made like 20k, and now use those proceeds to gamble on shitcoins. The absolute state of normies entering this insane market with moneh they can't afford to lose. There are top 10 coins that literally do nothing yet.

This. If you've got 500 to invest, i'd go for the following split.
>20-40% BTC or ETH
>20% another coin that's been consistently top 10 or top 20 the past year
>The rest on low cap, low price, high potential alts
The last one will require a tiny bit of research and being able to seperate shitposting from actual legit discussion and everything in between.

If you want some suggestions I'm holding COSS and stinkylinks cos they'll either fizzle out and die (then no worries cos you've not put that much in and they're quite cheap atm) or they'll likely moon when (if) this bullshit bear market ends and you'll see some serious returns.
