why are people still buying/investing in coins? when you can mine them for free like in the btc days. mine meaningless valueless coins and in 5 years open up a wallet that is worth real money!

Buying shells is for some the quickest and easiest way to get them. My laptop is old and shit and I don't want to spent time all day waiting for the Rain on Discord to come, so I just spend money and have it. In a certain way, you can also see it as some kind of donation to the project. By acquiring TRTL with fiat and holding it, you give the cryptocurrency value.
