I want to start a business but I have no business ideas.

/biz/ seems to be full of ideas, so does anyone want to share some?

Build spaceships.

There's only a couple companies doing this. Get in while the market isn't saturated.

You can't just jump blindly into the business pool. What can you actually do, or do you have money to get things done?

Dildoes. That play audio tapes while being used. Thus, they're educational.

Who do you know? What kind of connections do you have?

I have very few skills. Unless you count social ones and maybe sales. Money to get things done depends on what things need to get done. It depends on the idea but I have around $10K that I'd be willing to risk.

I know you're supposed to have ideas, and generally ideas are seen as the "easy" part, but I just can't think of any.

If we're talking about people with skills, I know a talented web developer, and a talented sysadmin.

I am none of those things (although I do have a rudimentary understanding of both). The only real things I could offer is management, bookkeeping, marketing and sales.

Buy the rights to open a chain location.

You have $10,000 and want to make something out of that while being good at social issues and sales.

I would advise you to do the simple buy and sale thing. You buy stuff for cheap and sell it for more. Try Alibaba for a good source of cheap shit to buy. You may set up a website for a couple bucks to sell all by yourself, but doing it over eBay is fine too. Bonus points if you are able to set up a local shop.

I would recommend microfinnancing or making a small investment on something for residuals

>> No.814220

actually I'm looking for an investment for up to 10,000 (more like 3000-5000) in exchange for good residuals/intrest+loan for my startup
