I have no less than 15 women I know who are selling things like sculpting body wraps, Scentsy, Arbonne, bullshit supplements and other health/beauty products and supplies. What attracts them to these schemes? Do they even make any fucking money? I probably have no less than 1000 of these product "reps" within a 1 mile radius of my house. Before deleting them all from my Facebook and Instagram accounts it was like /biz/ with everybody constantly shilling their shitty fucking scam products all day in my feed. Women are always complaining about men dominating the crypto space and yet they are ready to jump into Ponzi's and MLMs dumping hundreds or thousands into products and inventory trying to make their way.

No money being made. A few of them make 500 a month. Very few make a really good living. It's not worth it for alienating your friends and family.

My parents have been in an mlm company since early 80s. They make about 200k a year with it.

Some are. If they have a good product that a salesperson can sell, then its ok. I'd they only make money signing people up, then yes ... ponzi

My theory has to do with the fact that women are social creatures. A lot of these MLM products rely on testimonials, or meetings where people share their success using or selling the product, and this appeals to females. Additionally, the modern incarnation of MLM relies heavily on social media, so constantly posting about the product and getting validation/likes/support appeals to the attention hungry nature of the female. The only people posting incessantly about crypto are those who don't make any money or scammers.
