I set a goal to move outta my mom's house this year so my gf and I can live together. The only thing stopping me is a SHITton ($100k) of student loan debt. I have a wagecuck science job only pulling about $45k. Rent is stupidly expensive in the US. How can I lose this debt fast?

Also the majority of the loans are in my parent's names. The income based plan is going off their income, which is double mine, making the monthly payment >$1k/month. I agreed to pay it and they won't help at all.

if ur parents cosigned for you, then you're pretty fucked since those loans dont qualify for any income based programs. if you just want to stop payments, you can do forbearance/deferment but your still gonna be accruing interest on a 45k loan. on top of that, parent loans have way higher interest than normal
