M is roman numeral for 1000 so it's 1000 x 1000 which is 1 million

>> No.8079663

5 million eurobucks would be enough for me.

>> No.8079683

The Roman numeral M is often used to indicate one thousand, and MM is used to indicate one million. For example, an expense of $60,000 might appear as $60M. Sales of $3,000,000 might be written as $3MM. Internet advertisers are familiar with CPM which is the cost per thousand impressions.

In recent years some people began using k to represent one thousand. For example, an annual salary of $60,000 might appear as $60k instead of $60M.

In a recent business publication I saw million represented by mn and also by m (both lower case). This means it is possible for you to see $1,400,000 expressed as $1.4 million or $1.4mn or $1.4m or $1.4MM or $1,400k or $1,400M.

>made some serious money
>still cook at home, eat out at cheapest place every time I make a sizable profit
>spent about $100 on myself to attend an event
>buy exotic dinners for parents once in a while, they seem to appreciate it
>upgraded from cheapest possible disposable razors to slightly less shitty disposable razors, still in 10-packs, and I use them until they look disgusting

That's pretty much all the changes to my life. At least my depression cleared up, who woulda thought money was the answer.

You Are wasting money like a lunatic. You can use the same razor for months by sharpening it with jeans cloth

Don't call him a brainlet for that,
MM is the true brainlet notation, since afterall we use K for thousand anyway

Whenever I see 10MM I think "10 Million Million" no matter how hard I try to unsee it

>> No.8080549

The average salary in Germany is about €37k. This comes down to about €29k after taxes (about $35700). Let's say you start working at 20 and work until retirement at 67. That's about €1.3M (~$1.6M) you earn in your ENTIRE LIFE for working a 40+ hour week. After that comes retirement money, so let's say the average person has $2M to live their life.

Now why the fuck do people think you need $10MM? That's 5 times more than what most people here will ever have in their life if they add everything they ever earned. Apart from that I know many people that earn less than the average and they have everything they want. All of them live pretty luxurious, because you still have plenty of money for yourself after all the espenses. They have nice cars, nice homes, nice clothes, go out to eat pretty often. Basically they have enough money for everything, but no time to spend it.

Has crypto really fucked up your perception of money so much that you think a million dollars is nothing anymore? That's HALF OF WHAT AN AVERAGE PERSON EARNS IN THEIR ENTIRE LIFE FOR FULL-TIME WORK. What the fuck is wrong with you people?

>> No.8080630

>>8080549
If you were to get $10m though regardless of any other circumstances you could just pull right the fuck out and not have a worry in the world, is what OP is saying

I agree though, if I ever get $2.5 million after taxes I'd easily just fuck off right then

>> No.8080650

you get no (or almost no) pension if you get your money by investing. you're not taking inflation into account. there's additional risk as you don't know how the future will play out.

Then get some guaranteed passive income with that 2 million? Rent out some flats or something.
