I'm working with a small market cap coin. Every purchase or sale I make changes the price (>5%, one trade I made dumped it ~20%).

What are some tricks for manipulating order books to allow us to accumulate at a lower buy-in? I've got a huge 20% spread between the bid and the ask, how the fuck can you close this shit

Market makers don't touch small shitcoins, apparently

Not sure if exchanges have done something to change this, but consider looking into "landmine" orders, they're essentially hidden orders you can place.

There are probably better videos than that one, but it gives you an intro into how it's done.

The term landmine order is used in crypto, but in traditional markets, they're referred to as iceberg orders: https://www.investopedia.com/terms/i/icebergorder.asp
