Robinhood earns revenue by collecting interest on cash/securities and fees from their Robinhood Gold service

Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

I don't think they're THAT overvalued, P/E is only around 24x, they're still incredibly profitable and their revenues are projected to grow in 2018 vs 2017. They're also aggressively investing in shit like online shopping, free 2-day deliveries, online purchase - in store pickup, and now Sam's Club is partnering with a home delivery service in a lot of their stores. I just don't see the price falling into the $70's, maybe it'll hit the mid $80's. Walmart has like 5 times the earnings money to throw around compared to Amazon, if they spend their money wisely then they should be able to easily compete with Amazon.

RDR2 should sell well but I think it has already been priced in (I thinking 30M eoy copies at 30$ revenue each)
Besides, RDR2 might cannibalize GTA's playerbase
And I just happen to have a new thought : DLC contents for GTA Online must cost more to produce than for ATVI since it involves acting and voicing and coding

I think visa will be able to adapt and survive because of their superior cash / manpower/ size of customer base. While SQ is a small company that offers high tx fees that only appeals to startups that will eventually switch to another payment processor. Granted im talking 5+ years down the road. So Short term SQ will prob be a good investment. And while the tech sector is exciting now, euphoria cant last forever, BKS is a hedge for when things get bad. We're in an inflationary environment where fiscal policy is completely undermining monetary policy's attempts at fighting inflation, and the Fed doesn't have the leverage to deflate because the interest rate is already rising so high and so many t-notes are already being issued with a higher rate. To think that it's priced in would mean that I trust the market to be self-aware enough to have the foresight not to overextend on greed. Instead I trust the market to always be stupidly greedy.

I think we're about to see a major recession.

That train looks comfy. Do your trains smell like sweat and body odor over there or is that just an American thing?

A couple years back I had jury duty and was issued a free bus pass for the day so I could park in a remote parking lot for free and ride the bus downtown instead of having to pay like $10/day for a parking spot in the middle of the city. I had never been on the city busses before and thought to myself how convenient public transportation is and was considering riding the busses more often. Then I got on the bus and had to try and hold my breath for the 25 minute ride because it was the middle of summer in Texas and the stench of body odor was so powerful it was making my eyes water and I would gag if I breathed through my nose. I haven't stepped foot on public transportation since.

first of all, the rates are still to be very low, and the projected growth is still very slow. Everyone and their grandparents knew about this years ago, same with the Bond bear market leading to rising yields
you can see, after the initial first bond yield spike, the market corrected, then recovered quickly. This is because the only ones moving the market are the banks and mutual funds, and they keep buying because projected equity growth trumps income investing and probably still will for decades to come

I wouldn't rely on public transit in Texas. Public transit outside of major American cities is almost exclusively for the poor. Even in major metropolitan areas like Chicago it can be a nightmare. All trains loop in the center of downtown and trying to move East or West requires a bus. Buses get congested in traffic trying to move across two lane bridges and neighborhoods sitting right next to each other take 40 minutes to get to. Having a bike becomes a necessity to aid the dark spots in the train system and at some point you just rely on your bike or car.

SAN is pretty cheap, if you feel like buying some of that. They almost have a monopoly in Spain, so it may be worth looking into, and their growth is rather steady (albeit slow).

SIRI is in the same boat. Cheap, virtually has a monopoly, slow but steady growth.

CLDR may be worth looking into, if you're trying to dig up some relatively new companies. Although they were off to a rocky start, their growth over the last month has been pretty steady.

NBIX is the most expensive, and probably one of the most stable too (considering it's gone up 2% today so far), of the bunch that I can suggest you look into or buy.

I have quite a few others, too, but I just recently started watching stocks after reading a few shilled news articles online--so I've got some research to do before I can give credibility.

I had this idea yesterday
I gonna rewrite it here
It may flawed and retarded but I am here to learn

The FED is raising interest rates and the US government is on a deficit binge. The price to borrow will be rising and will incite companies and people to stop borrowing and repay their denbts.

But since most of the debts are issued by the government, the money will actually going back into the economy in the form of incomes for companies (and people).

Previous QE inflated mainly financial assets, now, there might be general inflation.

Inflation would be a problem if productivity (eg. quantity of goods and services produced) can't keep up with inflation.

That is why Trump passed his tax reforms, so that companies have more profits to repay their denbts and reinvest. Because of the rising interest rate, companies are incentivized to do so.

Besides, recently, Trump hired a guy who is biased towards trade barriers and protectionism (to protect the US domestic companies from foreign countries that are dumping their currencies).

This should be the ideal deleveraging scenario and the difficulty for Trump would be the balance between inflation and productivity. So, expect modest growth, rising interest rates and USD getting rekt (USD is too strong anyway because of trade deficit and other countries cheating on their currencies, compare the FOREX rate and the corresponding PPP indices).

Sector held green today, some tickers up 10%+. Cronos Group is killing it over on the NASDAQ today. Kinda wish I still held that one. Ah well, I made plenty of money with them already.

Canadian weed is not quite in the territory of a trend reversal yet so I do advise some caution making an entry at this point. Maybe enter positions in 25% chunks just in case there's one or two more good solid massacres yet to come before lift off. There is a better feeling in the air today though. My ass feels good about it. Lots of news releases came out this morning. Maybe bottom hit and flat-ish for a while now?

Key catalyst for March is senate second reading vote on weed bill, on or before the 22nd. Major catalyst regarding the government's legalisation process is on or before June 7. I expect to see bull run commence in mid May and go strong for two or three months.
