What's stoping me from picking 5 of the reddest stocks and selling when in profit ? Besides avoiding bankrupcy what else do i have to look out for ?

What's stoping me from picking 5 of the reddest stocks and selling when in profit ? Besides avoiding bankrupcy what else do i have to look out for ?
