They've fixed that particular issue. It's ok if you don't mind being reported to the IRS and you're not trying to evade taxes. Even then if you're a small buyer (sub 10k) you're alright. I wouldn't leave my card or bank info saved on there though.

lots of people are complaining about wire transfer issues too

but I just checked the kraken subreddit and there are som complaints as well. Admittedly less but it's also a smaller exchange. Guess I'll take the risk, I don't feel like getting verified with another exchange.
