Hurriedly, you finish scanning the QR code at your local coffee shop. Your phone buzzes in your hand alerting you that the Nano payment was successful. The barista looks down at her computer, back up at you, smiles, and says "You're all set". You thank her and set off for work.

As you get into your car, you notice some wide-eyed youngsters looking at you and whispering to each other. Understandingly, you flash a smile. It's not every day that they get to see a red Lamborghini sitting in the parking lot. While on the road, you smile to yourself when your phone buzzes once again; notifying you that the bridge toll you just crossed has automatically deducted a small amount Nano from your wallet. Two years ago, you knew this day would come eventually.

While on the highway, your ears perk up as you hear the radio host mention the name "Francesco". Francesco Firano, who you have has a deep dispassion for since early 2018, has been in the news lately for his exit scam selling girl scout cookies. "Soft Cheeks", a nickname given to Francesco in the prison showers, is claiming that it was the dev's fault that the girl scout cookies went missing. You shake your head in disbelief and continue to work.

Once you arrive at work, you walk into your office, throw your Nano branded briefcase down on your desk, and set up for the day. Todd, your office neighbor, approaches you to let you know that his cell phone carrier has finally accepted automatic monthly payments via Nano. You know that other phone carriers have been offering this for a while now, but you congratulate him anyway and crack a joke about why he is still using a Walmart brand phone carrier.

The clock strikes 5 o'clock. Excited that you finally get to go home, you swiftly pack up your things and head back home. While driving, you realize that you should pick up some milk from the supermarket. "Nanoflakes" just don't taste the same without it. You arrive at the supermarket and head off to the milk aisle. You squint at the price tags to see exactly just how much Nano this milk will cost you. "Ahhh", you say. "This will do!". As you walk out of the supermarket, you feel your phone buzz in your pocket once more. You throw the milk into the front trunk of your car and head home.

Upon entering your house, you place your briefcase down next to the front door but pause. Your supermodel wife who loves you for you and not your Nano is calling your name. You yell back "Where are you?" and she replies "I'm in the bedroom.". Still confused, you yell "Which one?". Ever since you moved into this new house last year, you find it easy to lose yourself. This, of course, is due to the fact that there are 26 bedrooms. Eventually, you find her sitting on the end of the bed looking at the television. You notice that she is trying to access a channel that you do not have, however, there is a QR code displayed on the screen. You take your iPhone XII and scan the code. Instantly, the channel starts playing as Nano is deducted from your wallet.

"Look!" she says, pointing at the TV. "It's happening!".

You gaze at the television admiring your friend, Elon, launching the latest rocket into space that will land on the moon, which has since been renamed "Nanoon" in late 2019.

You wonder what lies ahead. You wonder how you ever got by in the past using banknotes. As you slide back and rest your feet on the bed, you take comfort knowing that the most brilliant decision you ever made was investing in Nano before it's wide acceptance.

Raiblocks Nano gangrapes a dog in the ass without a condom for good luck and high profit.
Some ancient Asian tradition they tried and the coin went up in price.
The only thing they forgot about is that there is a coin called Dogecoin.
Dogecoin declared war against Raiblocks Nano and after that ''Bitgrail'' hack and price goes down hard!

>Lesson to be learned?

You don't want Dogecoin as your enemy.
Certainly not since there is a possible alliance between Dogecoin and Ethereum.

>The year of the Dogecoin, the same year Riablocks Nano got gangraped in the ass by the Dogecoin community.

Much pain such wow

dude i lost 6300 on bitgrail and re-accumulated when it was 60k sats.

we might see some of our nano from bitgrail, but judging from mt. gox case it will take years.

mt. gox users will all be fully refunded though -at least for USD value-.
those mt. gox victims that believed in BTC and just put the USD-worth they lost in mt. gox back into bitcoin AFTER the hack, have several times more bitcoin than if the hack never happend.
those that just kept crying about this fact now have some cash, and will be crying about how they missed out for the rest of their lives.

if nano does become established, we'll all be fully refunded at least for dollar-worth of what we lose. just years ahead. (it's what bitgrail has most of its funds of)

so if you believe in nano, and have some fiat or other coin lying around, just put the USD-value back into it. it's still well below of what it cost prior to the bitgrail fisaco, so you can accumulate more for the same value.
that USD you'll very likely get back when the bitgrail liquidation is over.

of course nothing is guaranteed, but imagine if you lost these coins on mt. gox, and imagine the difference between people who couldn't deal with it and became buttcoiners, and those who dealt with it and bought back in.

if you do this make sure to use binance or kucoin (i used both and binance has lower nano prices and much higher volume in my experience, so is a better option BUT kucoin allows unlimited withdrawals).
also withdraw coins at least to https://nanowallet.io/
that's actually made by the nano devs, so it's extremely unlikely to get hacked, but even if it somehow does they'll spot it in an instant and refund you from the dev fund.
only trust wallets made by the devs of the coin you're buying. if it has a critical issue, you'll be refunded in some way for exactly what you lost. if an exchange has a critical issue, you'll just lose your money.
