It's not fake news, I am a large investor and I spoke with synth and Bradford privately about it. The fees (and bribes) are paid, but chink exchanges are a nightmare to deal with, they never tell the exact bribe amount you're supposed to give them, but they think they gave them enough to be bumped up in the waiting list to be listed soon-ish.
