i made a bot that does a quick market order then sets a limit close at like .1% profit above fees, at 100x leverage you can make 5% off a $10 rise or fall for btc. thinking about packaging it up and selling it

Sounds like a way to lose money slowly. You might win 30 in a row but one dump will still keep you in the red

yeah, so far what i've added is you can slowly accumulate a position and it will keep your close price updating, so maybe you could buy down the bottom of a big dip or something.

would there be any kinds of automated macros to help your trading strategy? i'm thinking about just doing a simple open position that sets a stop and take profit at set levels for consistent trades.

>> No.7848150

what sort of leverage are you averaging?

Somewhere around 15x.

>>7848187
Obviously.

Mainly rsi/macd. keep your eye out for a breakout, I sometimes go 50-100x on a breakout if it's high volume. keep your eye out for

wew, lad, that's a bit intense. what percentage of your stack are your risking when making these trades?

also, primarily long or short?

>> No.7848485

>>7848421
I don't have a long or short preference, depends entirely on market movement. 50%~ on 10x, 20-25% on 25x, <7% on 50x, <4% on 100x. Roughly.

started with play money a while ago, after bingeing Philakones tutorials I tried to use rsi, macd, ema, fisher and whatnot but I'm still far away from trading assertively

I'd compare it to poker then. Beat the house if you know how to play properly.
