If you ever plan on buying a house with a mortgage don't pay off your student loan in a lump sum. You'll essentially be lending money again at a higher interest rate so better off paying your student loan normally and putting a bigger deposit down on a house. Paying off your student loan is only a good option when your making a lot of money.
