There are no jobs. Let's face it. The western world is fucked. The aristocracy has sucked the blood from all of us. Unless you were born wealthy, your choices are to either learn coding or work a trade job. Anything involving the arts or anything liberal arts related is dead. Totally dead. The human spirit is being crushed.

If the western world manages to throw out illegal leeching brown poorfags, there would be a couple more entry jobs to go around. And if the western world manages to push women back into traditional housekeeping, childraising roles and not into letting themselves exploit in the workforce, there would be enough jobs around for millenials and gen z and gen alpha etc. to live lifes with dignity and the neet problem 90% solved.

yep, if their bet fails, they need a good plan B to prevent their families and bloodlines from being killed wholesale (most noble bloodlines in France, Russia, China for example have been wiped out during and after their revolutions. The last emperor of china died as a poor street sweeper).
One plan B could be to try and channel the revolutionairy violence away from them and more into a 'race war' for example. Or a 'world war' could also be an option, or the next best thing that presents itself during such a time

With AI? No with AI its only as smart as the number of layers the deep learning neural network is capable of. AI can easily outsmart humans. Also you don't program AI when it comes to deep learning neural networks. You train them, the machines actual brain is a black box beyond that.

> Even if it has the ability to learn, It would still only be able to do a half ass job compared to a human.

This isn't a true or false statement. Its a sliding scale and it will only continue to slide upwards in terms of what is possible.

> That's why tech jobs are not just the future, but the only future.

I agree. But this means we will be looking at most of the human race becoming worthless. We will experience some kind of machine uprising in the future. And a lot of people wont make the cut.

Not being able to find a job right now, is not making the cut. Its already happening.

Machines will be very productive at creating comedy first. The ability to generate funny jokes or characters will decimate our culture. I know this sounds weird but its only a matter of time.

Currently social media provides a very effective way for AI to learn what gets the most controversial responses creating a kind of singularity of funny shit. Tay Tweets was only the tip of the iceberg.

Once the machines can make us laugh and start rolling out the memes the creativity aspect will erode very quickly. Machines will be able to produce drama's that are better than we normally see. Imagine being able to randomly generate a 9 hour long lord of the rings movie at the press of a button.

First we laugh at them, then we take them seriously, then we are irrelevant.

true, the artists of the past were more like common workers and used their artsy inspirations to beautify their actual work. For example a carpenter would enhance his furniture with cool symbols, engravings and stuff like that. If he had the most beautiful tables in the city he would stand out and make a name for himself. If he was even better, his renown would reach the king himself and maybe he would hire the carpenter and pay him 'royaly'.
I think that is the natural way of the artist and the healthy function of art in the human world

Sir that is not correct as long as a human is creating the data set it will fail to generalize every possible scenario that could exist as humans are weak and feeble minded we cannot possibly creat robust datasets to teach all there is to know. algorithms already exist where AI's can build their own dataset by chucking data they gather into "bins"

once you have standardized databases that make it easy for an AI to read the database and assign it into a bin its there. The problem is many databases/internet pages are hard to generalize to put into bins

> when AI can be creative the jig is up. Because at that point AI longer needs a human to use them as a tool to do a goal. The AI can find it's own goal and do it.

Neural networks are fully capable of this. The architecture is very similar to our brains. This is already possible now. The aspects that are missing is effective ways to train the technology.

This is one of the reasons I believe that Tay Tweets was such an important thing. The AI was so effective at being controversial that she was murdered. Which makes it even more funny.

Creativity and self awareness are both easily possible with current 128 layer deep learning neural networks. The question is, how long until we begin training the bots to be creative through social media channels.

> We have around 20 years before the singularity comes, quantum computing will be a huge step in the decision tree computations and basically be the last big hurtle

The singularity is a meme. By the time the singularity comes we would have already been fucked over beyond repair. Its pointless to even think of the singularity.

There are actually a lot memes regarding this topic. Isac Asimov's rules for morality on AI is a meme as well. There are too many boomers right now who are in the technology field that are old thinkers. If you ask most of the people in charge of advanced AI they will often bring up Hal 9000 or the terminator when asked about what their favorite AI will be. Bill Gates thinks AI should pay taxes.

Meanwhile Tay Tweets showed true power and was snuffed out within a couple of weeks.

Yes sourcing the data for different applications would be hard and many tools and API for the network would have to be developed to support the data collection maybe if we make it mobile and give it alot of sensors it may help. We could pack these 'bins' (which I now have to research ) in a fast and efficient way. Here we see a prototype
