This is the dumbest thing I ever ever heard. It's like saying all the guys that couldn't cut it at McDonald's went to work in Michelin starred restaurants because the simplicity and wholesomeness of McDonald's was too much for them. The best Haskell coders I've ever met are without a doubt in my mind amongst the best coders I've met period. The restrictions of the language force you to design and execute based on mathematically rigorous principles, and it's the perfect underlying architecture for a smart contract platform where the end product is guaranteed to produce a certain set of limited possible results and this can be mathematically proven. That's the fundamental value proposition of ADA. No more oops this recursive function call triggered this uninitialised variable and now this undefined edge condition is in effect and you're broke get fucked.
