What generates higher expected returns: technical analysis or fundamental analysis? What are the expected returns for each?

But reputable traders did abandon technical analysis a long time ago. Its voodoo science.

Fundamental analysis is guessing too, but its educated guessing in a sense. You won't beat the market in 95% of cases, but at least you weren;t relying on a ouiji board.
