Betting on oil prices to rebound in the next decade? Looks like you're fucked.

yep thanks to TSLA and the solar industry crude oil demand is only going to go down down down.

More rigs maybe, but with less output as time goes by.

the days where you could dig a hole and find cheap and easy oil are gone. Now you need large amounts of water, sand and chemicals. The arabs might have sand, though it's not always the right kind, but they are fucked when it comes to water

Cool pic OP. never thought to look at a middle east rig count.

So unfair how easy they have it, just gotta open a hole and the good stuff flows nice and easy

You can find the monthly international rig count (and the weekly North America rig count) at bakerhughes.com. It's usually released on the 7th each month.

Why does it say until March, but only shows January? Someone cut off the end to manipulate probably.

OP, showing pretty graphs without underlying understanding on why its happening is not that helpful.

Seriously? A picture, in this case a chart, is worth thousands of words. They are drilling the fuck out of their lands to tap into the oceans of oil beneath it. What will they do with that oil? I bet they want to monetize it......by selling it into a market that has a lot of oil ready to flow.
