How does one from country A, end up at college or uni at America?

if you have over $100,000 in assets, you can get a free green card
if you have a relative/significant other in the US as a US citizen you can get a green card
if you're an Australian, you can get an E-3 visa/green card under AUSFTA
if you live in a country that has less than 55,000 immigrants to the US each year, you might be eligible for the DIVA (green card) lottery

also op going to school in the US as a foreign student is dumb because you'll be paying a 200%-300% markup compared to American and local students. Don't even consider it unless you know your government will pay for it.

if you are from northern Europe is not very smart as the quality of education is of much higher quality than the US.. like for example what 14/15 year olds learn in Sweden in high school is what graduates learn at the average American university.

If you are from some third world shithole or southern Europe it might be worth the shot, but than again it would be much cheaper to study in Northern Europe...
