fucking piece of shit

>> No.7520920

Honestly, what was the end game here? To convince the majority of people to switch from Chrome/Firefox/IE/Safari to Brave?

Brave has so little market share it's not even listed on any browser stat site. They probably have less than 1/50000.

It is the best mobile browser. As a main browser its meh but usable

You're such a dumb piece of shit that you don't even deserve to have a share in this you dumb nigger.

The browser version is literally .20 you fucking tard. You don't think someone like Eich doesn't know how to roll out a browser? He fucking made firefox you fucking brainlet.

From a bizdev perspective there are so many moving parts to this that the rollout has to be flawless. As far as execution goes it has to be measured and tactical. For instance the UGP was the first wave of user integration, which will be shortly followed by business integration and finally full platform rollout.

This token is literally headed by people who have already made it. This isn't some tron tier bullshit from some faggot forbes 30 under 30 who haven't delivered shit in their lives. This is spearheaded by a man who has played an integral part in the formation of the internet as we know it.

This shit is a slow burn. If you can't handle that then get the fuck out. Seriously. And to answer your question of:

>Honestly, what was the end game here? To convince the majority of people to switch from Chrome/Firefox/IE/Safari to Brave?

Don't you think the same questions were asked when NetZero was the kind? How about Mosaic? How about AOL? How about IE? You fucking idiots can't see past your two inch dicks. Fuck you and sell me your bags. You don't deserve them.

There's no way it could be a better browser than Chrome or Firefox for desktop. Google and Mozilla have 100+ man teams working on it vs maybe 5 for Brave.

Even if the browser experience was similar, there would be very little incentive for a user to switch. It needs to be a significantly better browsing experience, and I don't see that ever happening.

It can be when the aims of the company are completely different, if a 10000 man team does not have the user as their main priority then it wont necessarily be better than a 10 man team which does.

Brave is much faster, blocks all adverts and has great privacy and security credentials. It's still early version and as such it's definitely not as flawless, particularly on desktop. Yet if you aren't using it on mobile you are just behind.

>> No.7521502

By the time the dust settles, and many of these ridiculous valuations become realistic (near $0), I don't think Brave will fair much better.

I wouldn't call Brave a longshot, I'd call it a moonshot. Maybe decent for making money from greater fools in the short term, but terrible if you were going to hold for 10 years then sell.

I think it shows promise as a mobile browser and considering the amount of mobile devices at the moment that should be their focus.

Didn't Activision make more money from mobile micro transactions then selling their console and pc games?

Despite defending it from retarded pajeet fudders in this thread im very bullish about brave and unsure about BAT, which are separate entities. A lot has been promised about it and if it achieves it's task it will be mammoth, but coins always have abtract promises and 'deals' which are never real. Supposing it gets some large advertiser deal, twitch support and plugins then it will more than 10x. I would wait until something is actually announced though.

>> No.7522084

>>7521978
It's not fud, it would actually work better this way. If I were to tip someone, I would like to know exactly how much I am giving them and how much will be debited from my account.

Also, what inventive do I have to give away tokens if they raise in value? I would just hold them to sell them at a profit, like anyone would, which would defeat the entire purpose of this.

The general idea is not bad. Being able to pay small sums to who we want instead of having to deal with ads is fine. But there is no need whatsoever to create a speculative token for this purpose. If they want to use tokens fine, but the only way it would work is if they were fixed value.

Using coins whose price go all over the place is the dumbest possible approach.

pajeets dont fud, they pump shitcoins like this

a charity coin isn't going go suddenly become valuable. recipients want real money, even something like bitcoin or ethereum would be acceptable, not some worthless shittoken theyd have to immediately cash out of under low volume high volatility conditions.

if bat is something the greater public want, then a direct solution using something like lightning will be faster, cheaper, and much more appreciated by the people being funded.

>> No.7522179

>>7522105
This. It comes down to whether that is due to people having no interest in anything but a total block on ads or if its due to not yet being implemented.

If the latter, it may solve the former problem. As if people do opt in to see some ads to use BAT to access websites, pay content creators or just have some themselves, then it will mean BAT becomes a common internet currency for paywalls and those in the former group who wish to not see any ads will still purchase BAT separately in order to access sites.

You already pay by viewing ads, BAT would not change that experience at all if you wanted. As for ad blocking Brave is the most comprehensive one there is. Many people pay extra for the ever more common paywalls, streamers, streaming services, music, donation etc, BAT is a more cost effective and natural means to do this.
