governments borrows money/resources from companies and other countries either for war or building infrastructures within the countries, pump fiat currencies whenever they need to pay debts to their collectors which in turn devalue currencies, that's how inflation bubbles happens, some of the taxes that you pay will go into paying these national debts but it is estimated that every citizens of the united states have a total of 63k USD in national debts and 170k for those that pay taxes, and there is a breaking point for pumping out fiat currencies and whenever it happened, fiat currencies become nothing more than digit numbers and pieces of shitsmelling papers that has next to no values, that is why having physical gold or other precious metals is a good thing for when everything gone to shit you can still trade them in other countries for other fiat currencies, things like that has happened in the past and it will happen again.
