Yeah baseless group-think FUD. Some of it is because Jeb is jewish, some of it's because they have some charitable policies ("SJW coin"), some of it's because he came from ripple ("it's a ripple fork!", when it's 100% not), some of it's because of the annoying Wakey Snakey meme.
There are no legitmate reasons to hate on stellar as a network and XLM as an investment.
It's as solid a project as any. There's a reason it's in the top 10.
Most people who hate on it don't even know what it does.

Ah, actually the circulation issue is one that actually warrants discussion. Ppl are worried they will flood the market, but they have stated in their documentation what the extra coins will be used for and inflation pools exist to recoup the inherent "costs".
It's not someting that bothers me. I believe they have a plan that involves distributing their coins over the next 15 years or something crazy. I would be surprised if I'm holding XLM by the end of the year as I swing trade. I'm just waiting for the FairX pump and might return laster and developments/rumors reveal themselves.
