ITT: How to be frugal

I noticed there wasn't a thread on how to be cheap like a jew, so I thought I'd make one. I'll post what I have, and everyone else can post images, or contribute personal opinions and experiences on how to live while spending as little money as possible.

What you guys don't realize is people don't get rich by being frugal, they get rich by boosting your income. How many of you can say your income will be double what it is now within 4 years or 5 times what it is now within 10 years?

"I haggle for most of the things I buy because I don't pay more than things are worth" That's me.

I knocked £100 off my car insurance earlier because I was on the phone to the guy trying to sell it to me. They already had the cheapest quote, and I still got it down further.

But I guess that I must be stingy and don't get any girls because I don't buy everything at the 'Suggested retail price'.

Say you spend $20 on a haircut every three months. If you bought your own hair clippers, and/or learn how to do it yourself, after 50 years you'd have saved around $4000.

My boss has never made less than 100k a year since he graduated from College.

However, he spends upwards of 6500 a month just to live.

He has no money saved, and is constantly stressed on how to keep his exorbitant lifestyle going.

He's a master at making money, just not at growing wealth.
