Binance have servers in 3 different countries, probably more + backups. There has been massive outage pretty much everywhere in the western part of the network over the last 24h. Go check by yourself you should know where to look. Plus China is putting up massive and complicated firewalls. It’s right now a big tangle. Seems legit so far.

No it hasn’t been hacked. The issue lies with RDS. Not only binance is affected. It’s basically a clusterfuck from amazon AWS. So everybody is trying to sync their different database now, hence the slow process. I do find a bit optimistic the 4am call. My guess is that it will be back running full speed around 9am ish. Binance have snapshot backups (many) . Nothing is lost. 1/2 window is already decided to give a chance to cancel sell/buy orders. If those ones who are not awake during that time, there will be blood on the street. Just don’t sleep.
