What do y'all think? Is the correction over or is there more blood left to be spilled?

I'm not sure how I feel. We're at record-low unemployment, but also wages are stagnating. Maybe this is the last glimmer before absolute destruction? I could see the next earnings season being an apocalypse.

You can't fight good news forever. I believe the crash is over.

The news for the economy are so good that there are more eager buyers than you think

Amazon is building a second headquarters, apple is building a plant here and promised to reinvest into the economy, auto-makers are coming back to the US, massive job growth, wage increases due to the tax plan, and a bunch of corporations have give huge bonuses to employees and openly admitted it was because of the new tax cut

Even cnn tried spinning the tax plan as bad by saying we are going to hurt Europe because they won't be able to compete

Yeah, overall it's exceedingly rosy. I guess I'm just worried that people won't be buying as much stuff, basically new wages being soaked up by rent / college loan fees, but that is probably just myopic from my perspective.

>$1,000 one time to select groups of employees, bonuses that were being given anyways
>huge

Also those same corporations fired a bunch of workers iirc. I opt people not suck corporate dick and we go tribal OR we drop all the bullshit and declare the execs of the wealthiest corps the supreme rulers of nations.

I just want death.

Europe will have to lower their taxes and cut their spending, welfare migrants BTFO

The EU will probably seize property from the white Europeans to give to the migrants before it comes to that though.

Most people haven't even gotten their first paycheck with the effects of the tax cut.

Most large corporations don't give raises and bonuses in the middle of January. Mine and many others do our annual raises in March/April.

By year end I will have an extra 2500 dollars salary as a result of the tax cut and probably another 3000 in salary increases.

Give it time. Wage growth is going to kick into high gear by year end.

We may be at the end of the credit cycle, but there's still at least another 2 years left to this bull market.

I haven't seen anything opposite (the 1-2g bonuses), although I'm not sure it's the same companies firing people.

Anyways more generally I'm thinking of going in on Dollar Stores, cigarettes, and budweiser -- just generally poor people things. I think VICEX would be a good buy

>>7405174
especially gonna go for VICEX if they'll see some extra money

>wage increases due to the tax plan
Hardly. S&P 500 companies are spending large amounts more on stock buybacks than any employee investments or bonuses. This shareholder maximization culture is the problem, not being taxed. Apple's new jobs are just an extension of it's pre-tax bill behavior. Stock market only affects about 20% of americans, and those well off enough to be able to afford investing in retirement accounts. Don't fall for the corporate PR bullshit, anon. 90+% of profits have gone to benefit shareholders in the past few decades, there's no sign of that changing.

This is correct but this is a thread about which stocks are good / the market in general. So, it's good to be a shareholder.
