G65s are like 225k, I had one for a short while. Really the 63 makes more sense because the G65 is so detuned on the bottom end to make the transmission last. The problem with the G wagons is they just absolutely suck on the road.

The new G class is coming out end of this year and should be greatly improved. Offroaders won't be happy because it won't be a solid front axle, but, the on road performance will be much improved.

>>7399962
They drive great, but, yeah you will always look like a guy who couldn't afford a 911. Question is if you really care of not. I say if you enjoy it, enjoy it.

If you go the 911 route, 911s are fun to drive and very rewarding, technology has made them much easier to drive fast and now the engines slammed so far forward you drop the whole engine down to do basically anything. I think the 991.1 was the best though, the 991.2 with turbos on the S models is faster and probably better in every way, but, something is lost with them.

I think that is a common opinion among Porsche enthusiasts and to put it frankly, older men. Since I'm in my early 20s owning any Porsche at all is already seen as an achievement, so it doesn't bother me much. Most of my peers can't see the difference anyway. Even a used 2.7 or 3.4s is still long ways of for me though, nevermind a 911. One day, anon... One day.

I had one of these like...10 years ago. Fun as shit but maintenance gets a little expensive.

I cashed out just enough BTC back in Dec. when it was 18,800 to buy a used 1997 Honda Del Sol. I got a decent enough deal on it that I didn't really notice the coin....since I bought it I've caught some good deals on an eibach pro series suspension kit and some motegi racing MR116s. I also picked up all new tie rods and bellows to work on the front end. Once I get some new control arms, ball joints, and a big brake kit I'm going to work on the small spot of rust and then I will free up about a thousand to buy a low mileage B20 drop out to install in it. It wasn't my first choice but when I'm done modding and restoring it I will be able to sell at a profit if I want to. I do my own labor, so I play around with cars on the side for fun.

because I got my used nip wagon off Craigslist for $1k and have driven it for two and a half years already. did I mention it has GAINED value? I pay half the insurance too, because I only need liability. meanwhile all that money is making me savage returns.

buying a nice car before your house is paid off is fucking retarded. one of my neighbors has a $50k Corvette parked in front of his $40k manufactured home. don't be that guy.

you are an literal 'badge wearing' idiot. GSXR bikes are great platforms to work off making insane track bikes. if you think BMW are the only high performance track bike you are a child/moron or both. I know very few riders that need the peak performance track bikes but just like to talk as if they do. I know riders who are anorexic to get the last bit of speed out of their rockets and you are here boasting about a 1000rr like its the only weapon around... for shame (I like them a lot though, but that is besides my point)

I never said i'd buy a GSXR... haha. I just hate the 1000RR evangelicals who are usually old fucks who cant ride thinking that everything Germans do MUST be the most viable option after several Japanese dynasties have made Europeans shit the bed. R1 (and R6 as its well and truly enough bike for me...) have always been my favorite track bikes so I agree with you . I do like European dirt bikes though (Husqvarna)

All of these exotic cars are a pain in the ass over the long run.

Just buy yourself a decent Cadillac. They have all the performance most people would need, and they're comfy as fuck.

>> No.7406434

>>7398023
No, I get it. If you make 200k+ a year and have a multimillion net worth, get the fancy car. If you're still trying to get money, though... anyone who's actually professional understands that a modern but used Japanese car is the absolute best value for money. Low maintenance, cheap repairs, good mileage, cheap insurance. Won't let you down when you need it.

Honestly I will probably drive Toyota or Nissan for the rest of my life because that is really the kind of engineering I appreciate. Just putting an arbitrary number of horses in there doesn't really do it for me, nor does spending money on things that aren't really worth it.

I was so tempted to cash out $10k out of a 2.3-2.4 BTC alt-coin stack in the last week of December/1st Week of January when it was still worth $36-40k USD.

It was for a white $14,000 2004 RS w/95k miles, stockish aside from a built head and intake/exhaust, rust free from SoCal. Dream car from when I was a teenager in the early 2000s.

Instead I decided coins would be a better long term hold. Then my portfolio depreciated faster than a 15 year old Mitsubishi ever could. Now that stack is worth $16k.

Luxury cars are supposed to be heavy. Only teenagers and pajeets drive BMWs in my area, and Audi is hit or miss (although the new A8 is great).

After acquiring Maybach, Mercedes-Benz is in a weird spot, and they are still trying to figure out their market. That being said, the E63 Amg phenomenal. If the rest of their lineup can fall to that standard Mercedes blow away Audi/BMW it won't even be close.
