AHHHHHHHHHHH edition

Popular brokers for stock trading:
Robinhood
>commission free and no minimum to open
http://www.robinhood.com

> How is it free?
Robinhood earns revenue by collecting interest on cash/securities and fees from their Robinhood Gold service

> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

Interactive Brokers

this, when it's already run up then I don't think it'll keep going...then again DRYS and trump's election. but when you've missed the initial run it's best to see if it's going to run higher or if it's going to go back down.

best thing to do is to watch cci and macd and if it starts dipping then short. because other shorts are also going to jump in and bring it back down to "stable" levels.

Depends what strategy you want to play. Stop losses can be good or bad. I tend not to use them if the things i'm holding are in bull run as you can get stopped out on a momentary dip and lose some leverage as the prices rise before you get a chance to buy back in. If things are starting to look overextended, rsi on the daily and weekly is getting overbought, then yes definitely use stop losess if not sell outright. It's something i should have done at the height of the weed bull run as i could have doubled my shares for no extra money on the 50% retrace.

Hey you goys, if you didn't buy UVXY before this correction, think hard before buying in now. Don't FOMO by buying in at the high.

But buy high sell low I guess

Or we could keep dropping and you'll miss out on major gains. High risk right now, idk desu

In exchange, Tencent is using its trendy tech name, borrowing funds and "investing" into various businesses so as to prop up their shitty balance sheet.

Basically it's war between investors who think the economy is fine and there's no need to freak out vs. bears who are freaking the fuck out and think a recession is coming for vague and poorly thought out reasons. The bears are antsy because the US markets have been very strong for several years running. What they don't want accept is there is no reason, no fundamental economic reason, why shit should hit the fan right now. They're way overreacting about the interest rates and treasury bond yields.

there's also the bear that thinks assets are overvalued right now and are looking for an exit opportunity. interest rates are low and have been for years, so there arent very good places to put your money besides the stock market so their hand has been forced in the past. but now that the fed is projected to increase interest rates, they see an opportunity to get out of the market while assets are what they perceive as high and prepare to enter the bond market and take advantage of higher rates.

uvxy is meant to track the vix, a measure of volatility (uvxy doesnt track the vix very well but that's another story). high uvxy means high implied volatility, which means the expected future returns on the stock market are changing (usually for the worse, but also possibly for the better)
