Ethereum : impressive track record, proven working product, great team, charismatic leader

Chainlink: two people team including one literal philosopher, classic pump and dump price fluctuations

Now tell me: why would chainlink implement decentralized oracles before ethereum? Kek.

I can tell that you are new fag. This was literally same argument for eth as "btc will implement smart contracts". They didn't nor will vitalik because they he is focused on on fundamental eth infrastructure rather than derivatives. That's why there is chain link, enigma, kyber, omnise go, etc.

Because putting Oracles in Ethereum directly would be stupid you idiot.

What you fail to understand is that ethereum and chainlink tackle the same problem, namely making smart contracts a viable option. And ethereum is much more than just Vitalik, who's a recognized genius

>> No.7282554

this is a good explanation from vitalik about oracles and why ethereum doesn't have them natively

Because Vitalik himself said the best Oracle solution would be built on top of Ethereum by a third party.

https://blog.ethereum.org/2014/07/22/ethereum-and-oracles/
>the most exciting end-user-centric [oracle] innovation is likely what will be built on top [of Ethereum]

It's more like "how perfect will this team be" rather than "prevailing".
ChainLink will suit as a connector to ETH and will enable ETH broader adoption. The more ETH adoption rises the more ChainLink will be used too. It is more a symbiosis. Price wise ETH will always be more worth. ChainLink will rise in value up to anything in the top 8 crytos but never #1

That's a completely different question.
Simple answer: there is no competitor yet, not a single oracle solution out there is actually decentralized outside of Chainlink.
Also CL already has years of top-level industry exposure to its name, and an initial product release around the corner.

The value of an ETH token is in no way tied or even related to the value of ETH.
