What is the point of finding mines I do not understand.

This is my idea for info collection.

What about starting a club for small cap speculators to share information. Everyone in the club uploads small companies that an individual could possibly collect actionable information on locally. like hires / cars in parking lot. Finding the names of who works there. Digging in their trash can for documents. Monitoring how many shoppers are at their store. Visiting the location ect.

If you live near a small cap company people want info on you do research and upload it. users will rate your information on how useful it is, and the higher the rating the more weeks / months of access to the forum you receive. So once at least you are going to have to get some good info. then you can upload companies you are interested in and wait and view the other info people dig up.

ok here's another idea. on the show gold rush alaska some bumfucks in the mountains supposedly possibly found a gold vein source that was feeding the entire basin full of gold. they show the vein on the show with a map and everything.

it won't be hard to get aerial photo of it. Or satellite image.

Take the image of that fault line or gold vein form the air and use an algorithm like google images uses to compare to all satellite data and see if you come across any new valuable gold fault lines.

IPO your company after you possibly found a location. sell the algorithm for tens of millions.

It's not it's usefulness that gives it value. It's the power and rarity. It doesn't matter if it is useless. Gold is unassailable non eroding impervious to nature and mans wrath alike. It contains a luster of rarity and exclusivity. It is more independent from government control than most other commodity's. Insurance against a system with too much printing press power. Don't worry gold will rise again. And your gold finding skills are still useful just not as powerful as they once were.

The thing is, meteorite craters are something like 47% underwater, 30% in the middle of fucking nowhere, the rest in areas we actually care about/can reach. It's not that we aren't searching for them, it's that we can't afford to spend millions of dollars searching for meteors in the ocean.
