Would this fraud work /biz/?
1. Start with a fair bit of money
2. Pick a really low market cap stock
3. Convince people to short it through usual pump and dump tactics
4. Once the stock reaches 1/4 it's normal value, use your wealth to buy most of the cap
5. When the shorts come due, raise your price to an incredible level, say 100 times normal value.
6. The victims are forced to buy your shares at that price to complete the short (execution risk)
7. You run away real quick
