The buttcoiners were right that blockchain uses are niche. But one of these things will be a goldmine that will eat all the blockchain niches. I dont know about you moonboys but my bet is on ETH. Once they solve the scaling problem its game over for most cryptos.

Most people just have a hard time accepting this because ETH already has a high marketcap and want to make gains on the "next ETH".

Inb4 private chains, maintaining the private chain will cost more than just using the public chain plus whats the point of a private chain?

Dont fight ETH anon, its likely to be the only survivor of crypto.

yeah i put all my profits into eth. hopefully i can suck vitaliks dick one day

ETH really is the only thing that isn't vomiting all over itself, too bad I sold a bunch to buy a bunch of /biz/ shilled shitcoins dumped on me.

ETH solves the shilling problem
XRP solves the chinkbank problem
XLM solves the Eurobank problem
XMR solves the weed and hookers problem

That's all you need.

For real though, most of us hate to admit it but ETH is the most likely to have mainstream usage. The other cryptos are just banking on ETH not being able to scale but when it does....

I mean look at the new ERC-725 standard shit looks like the future

You can unironically create XMR on top of ETH and it would be much faster than XMR once plasma arrives. This is why you bet on smart contract platforms not some niche fucking coin like anonymity or kek.... Request Network.

ETH is insecure be design and still actively shilled by brainlets who think they are into technology

XMR is going to get an update that makes it five times faster than it is now, by making the transactions five times smaller.

You can argue that it is SO SECURE that code is law. The fact that you can accidentally lock up a ton of ETH by bad code shows that Ethereum is too secure.

5X doesnt matter its not even an order of magnitude, when ETH scales it will eat up XMRs use case as well when someone builds XMR on top of ETH. Dont fuck with smart contract platforms anon.

I don't hold any monero. And I do expect a bright future for Ethereum and that it's only a matter of time until it will trump Bitcoin. But as of yet it's mostly just promises. They promise speed, privacy, usability. But it's all not there yet.

While in the meantime real crypto users are using ripple for blockchain solutions and monero for payments. While ethereum is (still) limited to paying for ICO's.

Maybe if you read news outside of biz you'll see thats not true. Plus ETH is probably more liquid than Monero.

Shops will unironically accept ETH first as payment before Monero. Screencap this.

I own a business. And If I'd accepted cryptos I would have 1 real criteria for it. It needs to be fast and be able to get converted into fiat currency instantly at the moment of purchase. Otherwise it becomes an administrative nightmare.

But if you accept one speedy crypto you might as well accept all of them. There is no reason why you cant let the client pick his currency.

XMR is the one crypto actually used as a currency

Bulletproofs, ledger support and atomic swapping on the way
