In a world of billions of people, there is only a small segment who would ever invest in cryptos.

They come in full of optimism, but then a certain percent lose their ass.

Those who lose everything either don't have enough money to get back in, or they have learned their lesson and will never get back in.

This means that the pool of crypto investors will always decrease; which means it's only a matter of time before new investors dry up and the whole ponzi system collapses.
