market is moved by bots. bots trade small amounts upping the price a bit over time until the people eventually join in the party and at the peak of the party there is a cash out...of those who bought before the bots upped the price

what is happening now is bots doing the same but in a reverse...coins accumulated for a later dumping fest

there is no new paradigm, there is no fighting the banks, there is no fiat liberation...the game is the same as it ever was

Everyone has started to think they're trading geniuses, so imagining they're in some american film drama where they short the entire market and walk out with billions, they began selling their positions to the pros, hoping to buy back at meager prices.

Investment in crypto is not based on crypto delivering value to anyone, in contrast to a stock or something where you hold a part of a company which (hopefully) is producing stuff and making money. Instead its price depends entirely on speculation which has over time been fueled by a feedback loop of people getting interested in crypto which causes prices to rise which in turn get more people interested. Essentially crypto has run out of people with capital to get interested.

The prices won't go higher unless there are new buyers and when people see the asset they were "promised" an over 100x return on feel cheated and have therefore sell.

Not sure what it is about this thot, there's something alluring about that cross-eyed, slack-jawed face, I just can't put my finger on it

Better question is why did the market do so good at all when cryptocurrency is literally son faggots programming pixels and saying they are valuable
