So I want to refocus my portfolio to proof of stake (PoS) coins, however I leaving my main desktop computer on 24/7 would be a huge power draw.

Are there any coins that would be best for staking using something more basic such as a Raspberry Pi 3 computer? I doubt there would be something that I could LIVE off the dividends at this point (wish I got into Neo sooner) but what can you do.

Can you stake using a Raspberry Pi 3?
So what coins are good for staking/dividend return in general that someone with an extra $300/month could get into?

You help is appreciated.

You can run a TNT node with 5k of them on a service like digital ocean for $5 a month. Right now they have a shitty lottery system for rewards but they have confirmed they are going to be changed the system.

You could get a shit ton of OHM coin. Its a very tiny coin right now that was having some troubles but the other day they forked their coin and are rebranding etc since their old code was shit. Might have to pop into their discord and ask if anyone in there is willing to sell some.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll have to look further into these coins, I'm trying to strike a balance between growth and dividends. I want to know that the coins I'm getting into have some type of longer standing value as well.

I was also thinking about getting into Burst coin mining (in case anyone has had any experience with that coin), I like the idea of a energy saving system for crypto and I have a 8TB hard drive that's just sitting around doing nothing. Anyone do mining like that? I was thinking about Sia coin as well.

Raspberry Pi uses an ARM CPU, and not all coins bother compiling for it. So unless you're comfortable with compiling your own shit, you should probably stick to something with an x86 CPU instead.

just buy some bank and oil and gas stocks.

those have 4-5% dividend yield and wont go to zero because they arent shitcoin vaporware, the companies actually make PROFIT.

I have a nice passive income of $500/month from my stocks, not enough to live on but its a start

I was thinking about this but right now the market is way over sold, I'm starting to save up a bunch of fiat so that when the market pulls back after this massive bull run I'll jump into it, although admittingly I don't know much about oil stocks and how they work.

Your computer doesn't have to be on to stake, you just vote for a delegate and wait for dividends.

>Bull market for over 8 years
>No market corrections thus far
Come on, it's going to correct at some point and it'll be a hard correction too if it keeps ging like this. The (((FED))) is going up the interest rates which I'm guessing will start this domino effect and we'll be in a bear market for a few years before the cycle starts over again.
