I like to look at things in terms of marketcap. Do I think NEO is worth more or less than the things above/below it? Cardano has a ton of potential but doesn't even do anything yet.It's for god damn sure worth more than Bcash though. Better than Ripple? Hard to say. Ripple has a lot of strikes against it as far as decentralization goes, and honestly Stellar seems to have more going for it at the moment anyway. Not sure why it's valued so highly.

Is NEO worth more than Ethereum, though? That's a tricky one. They're similar, but different. Raiden - Trinity. Smart contracts and ICOs. ETH has its own language, NEO can be used with several familiar ones. Well that's the question I don't have enough knowledge to answer.

Worth more than BTC? Idk about that one. But, I think NEO being #3 is within the realm of possibility. Certainly not one of those "oh yeah this is definitely going to happen" things, but it sure seems possible.

3 things to consider, I think.

A smart investor never buys at an all time high. A /biz/ investor does though. The idea is that when things are at or are approaching all time highs, odds are that they will go down. Maybe not today, but they will probably go down.

Second way to look at it - NEO conference is in 2 days. Typically hype will continue to drive something's price up all the way to the conference day and sometimes even as it starts. Usually it goes down immediately after. On rare occasion, though, it holds or goes up. But usually it goes down.

Third thing is that fundamentally, not just from a price action standpoint, NEO is amazing. I and many others see a really bright future for it. So the odds of it being worth more in 6 months, 2 years, 5 years from now, seem very high. So if you buy now, are you really buying high, or buying low? Good question.
