Can someone please explain to me the value of the various coins and ICO tokens?

So I buy into an ICO and get tokens. Now what?

Why would people want to pay me more than the ICO value for the token, since tokens don't receive dividends?

Why would I even want to buy ICO tokens since they don't make me a shareholder or let me receive dividends?

most tokens allow for use of the network and/or smartcontracts of whoever made the ico. you are gambling that there will be real economic value to come from using the network/smart contracts

now kys

doesn't that seem to overly complicate things to you?

Say I wanted to use a service. Right now I'd just pay cash at a price the company sets

Using tokens to use the service now I have to go down some dark back alley and pay some unknown 3rd party at a price the random stranger says I have to pay so I can then go and use the service

do you really think major companies are going to want to have to get their receptionists to go down to the fucking token store to buy tokens when they could just buy directly from the company providing the service
