"Crypto" is a fucking meme. We don't need anything but Bitcoin. Even then, it's pretty overhyped. The technology behind it is great but it's barely been useful since it started in 2009. The masses have known about bitcoin since then and still no one gives a fuck. People think these shitcoins are the next big thing but it's like creating a competitor to beanie babies after people stopped caring about beanie babies.

I think Bitcoin/crypto will be on the same level as torrenting. People thought it would change the world but it'll just plateau eventually. It will still be used for ransom payments, drugs, CP, etc but not much else.
